I stood off to the side while Justin did his meet and greet like he did before every show. Carin was standing next to me, leaning her head on Scooter's shoulder. "Hey sweetie. How are you?" "I'm good.." He smiled and picked her up, taking a picture with her. She pointed towards me after he let her down. "Can I take picture with both of you?" Justin looked at me, and I nodded, walking towards them. I picked her up this time, and held her on my hip. We smiled at the camera, and I put her down, giving her a hug. "Thanks Sel." "Anytime." I walked back to Scooter and Carin, and sighed, again with tears forming. This show was in L.A, because he did a couple shows at the Staples Center to kick off his tours. I walked behind the curtain, and over to the bathroom, pulling out my phone. I was calling my mom, who seemed to be the only one who knew what I was going through. "Hey Sel." "H-hi mom..." "Awe, baby, are you crying?" "Yes..." "Okay, just take a deep breath in and out.." I did what she told me but the tears just kept flowing. "She would have been here with us right now..." "I know baby.... It's okay... you're gonna be okay.." "I love you mom.." "I love you too.." "I gotta go, Justin's looking for me." "Okay, I'll talk to you later." "Bye mom." "Bye Sel." I ended the call and walked back out, bumping into Justin. His eyes looked worried, and he wiped my tears. "Hey, are you okay?" I shook my head no, and he pulled me into his arms, letting me cry. I just cried into his shoulder, and he rubbed my back. "Come on, we'll go to my dressing room." "Okay.." We walked a few minutes to his dressing room, and turned in, shutting the door. He motioned me to the couch, and I took a seat, waiting for him to sit down. When he did, I placed my head on his lap, and just cried while he combed through my hair with his fingers. "I miss her so much.." "I know baby, I miss her too." "Why did she have to leave us?" "I don't know, but I know he has a plan. I just know it." "I sure hope your right." "Do you wanna head home?" "I want to be here for you..." "Sel, if you're feeling like this, just head home. I don't mind." "No, I'm staying here." "Okay." I sat up and looked down at my flat stomach, putting my hands on it. Tears formed in my eyes, andfell over. "They showed her to me.." "When?" "After the took her out, they showed her to me.. She looked so much like you.." He sighed and tears formed in his eyes.. I hugged him tight, and he started crying.. "Guys, we need you on- Oh, sorry.." "No Scooter, It's fine. We'll be right there." "Okay." ------- *No point of view* Scooter understood what they were going through, but the pain he could only imagine. He tried to be there for his "little guy", but sometimes there was nothing anyone could do to help them recover. A part of their spirits had been violently ripped out. Justin was constantly messing up the dance moves and lyrics, and Selena could hardly show her face to anybody. "Scooter, what song are we starting off with again?" "Somebody to love, more than likely." "Okay, can we run Baby one more time?" "Yeah, cue music!" The music to Baby ran again for like the third time. Selena was standing off to the side watching him, but her heart broke everytime she saw him mess up, because in a crazy world, she believed that it was her fault. "God dammit! Scooter, I give up. This shit is ridiculous.." Selena's heart skipped a beat as he walked off stage. Pattie got up to talk to him, and Selena followed. When she approached his dressing room, his door was closed, and you could hear talking. "Justin, you can't give up.." "But I do.. I'm messing up everything..." "Not in the past 5 years have I seen my son give up. You can do it, I know you can." "Mom, I miss her so much...." "I know baby..." Selena knocked on the door, and Justin opened it. "Mom, can Selena and I talk?" "Of course." She walked out of the room, and Selena walked in. "Are you okay?" "Does it look like I'm okay? I'm messing up the dance moves, the lyrics.." "Hey, look at me.. I know how hurt you are, but you have to do this for your fans.." "I don't care about them right now Selena!" She stood up, being shocked as to how he yelled at her. "Right, I'm sorry. Just forget I even tried.." "Selena..." "I'm gonna head home, have a good show." She ran out the door, and outside into her Ford Escape. She took a minute before starting the car because her eyes were flooding her eyes. She already lost her baby, she can't lose Justin as well. ------ Comments? Goodness, so much drama!
